We had one of these last year and as Spring Training nears I thought it would be time for the 2012 version of this thread. Post your predictions here. You can also include:
AL MVP
AL CY Young
AL ROTY
NL MVP
NL CY Young
NL ROTY
I'll keep my predictions simple for now but I'll probably edit before the start of the season and expand (not to mention probably make some changes after watching teams during ST).

World Series
Tigers > Phillies

Reason: Added the stupid 2nd Wild Card + World Series pick
The races that are interesting this year for me are in ALE (4 teams that can do damage), ALW (looking forward to a close race between the Angels and Rangers), NLE (4 very good teams with improved Nats and Marlins) and NLC (Cinci, STL and Brewers can all make cases for being the best). Can't wait for the season to start already.
AL MVP - Albert Pujols (There, I went out on a limb)
AL CY Young - Justin Verlander
AL ROTY - Mike Trout
NL MVP - Matt Kemp
NL CY Young - Roy Halladay

After the last two years, I'm not touching the Phillies World Series thoughts. I could be dead wrong and wouldn't be all that surprised if they made it at all but Howard is hurting though I guess the NL getting weaker in general might make it easier for them to get there
I'm not all that good at predictions really but for the World Series I will say Tampa Bay over Colorado. A completely out there pick I know but I see both teams being pretty good this year
picking rookies of the year in baseball is a fool's game. There's rarely a pre-season consensus and even when there is that guy never wins. Its generally some random number 4 starter who gets a bunch of wins or an out of nowhere closer who picks up 35 saves.

If my Cubbies are bad again this year, I'd have no problem rooting for the Reds in the Central. They are really neat to watch and I like a lot of their players. Brewers and Cardinals eh, not so much
Also, if the Yankees add a bat during the trade deadline (they struggle offensively at times), I can also see them going pretty far. I think Pineda will really help them.
