Jesus, I'm surprised he's back. Looked like he was in a ton of pain. Maybe his ankle instead of his knee and just twisted it? Hurts like hell for a bit and then starts feeling better...tape it up, get back out there

well that was my point ... most ligament tears are the result of non contact, planting the foot incorrectly, change of direction, hyper-extension, cutting, pivoting, landing incorrectly etc

Nasty goal by Mac Truck, now that he's OK I have no problem saying that

Come on boys, win the period, win the game, take over the lead in the NHL for at least until Detroit drops the puck

Tremendous period.

And I'd rather Detroit win their game. 8 point division lead? Yes please.

That was scary. When guys go down in sports like that, the first thing I think is ACL.

I like Eminger's physicality and what his versatility brings to this defense.

That said, the stick is not a weapon.

The point I was making was I didnt see the knee joint move. I was actually concerned about his achilles tendon.

He hit the post and had that nice SH attempt, right? If he plays like this in the playoffs, there's no way we can lose.

Agreed, honestly winning the President's trophy to me will scream huge playoff letdown. I want this team to go in underrated.

EXACTLY. And I'm sorry but I was just speaking from experience after blowing out 2 ACL's that it doesn't take much and sometimes you don't even realize it until after the MRI/Lachman test. My apologies.
