so we are finally going to have a fully functioning offense,
which means more wins,
which means more activity,
which means somewhat more serious GDTs,
which means I'm just really excited McDonald's back.
Last season with McDonald in the lineup we averaged 2.95 goals per game. This season we averaged 3 per game.
We're better than you. Na-na Na-na Boo-boo, stick your head in Doo-doo.

But I'm real excited to see Andy Mac back in action. He played 3 games this season so we don't truly know what our offense will look like with him in there. I think putting him with Berglund and Stewart could be good though, and I'm also hoping our powerplay gets a boost and improves (won't get my hopes up for that one though).
I'm a fan of the early GDT (think there's a pre-game prefix).
Pumped about McDonald. Back to back mitigated by not having to travel. Sharks have lost 4 of their last 5 on the road. Beat Chicago the other night but everyone's beating Chicago. Still, they've been scoring a lot: 6, 5, 3, 3, 5 in their last 5 games.
Wouldn't mind seeing Russell back healthy as Cole was kinda dodgy tonight. Or Huskins if he's ready.
Yeah Blues will have to score, or keep the Sharks from scoring. This game makes me nervous but my family/in-laws are Sharks fans, and they really give me **** when they beat the Blues, to the point where I don't even want to be in the house when they play each other. Funny though, they sure hide their heads in the sand when they lose... hehe maybe they will stick their heads in doo-doo tomorrow, as the GDT suggests.
I know everyone is excited about McD, I have faith he'll do good but I hope he lives up to everyone's expectations and the Blues get a win for his return. I'm ready to see him back in action.
JR reported he was expected to. I guess it's not 100% but he'd pretty much have to have some kind of setback at the last minute, which is always true of any concussion return, as we saw with Steen. But McDonald's been practicing for like 10 weeks now.

That's probably Hitch's motivational speech before every game.
San Jose is the only team that I actually hate thanks the 99-00 season. Yeah it's fun to hate on Chicago and Detroit. But I don't actually hate their franchises.
When I go to Chi or Det games I want us to win of course. But it's fun from a rivalry standpoint. There are always Chi and Det fans at the game so when we win it's fun to see them mope away all sad.
When we play San Jose I want us to win 27-0 and somehow every San Jose player limp away after the game. Somehow their coach take a flying puck to the arm so he doesn't get away unscathed either.
Ever since the one man team with Owen Nolan knocked us out of the playoffs I despise San Jose. Damphousse was good too but it just seemed Nolan couldn't be stopped if we could have put 20 guys on the ice.
I hate them, I hate them, and after that I hate them some more. May San Jose fall on such hard times that the team is forced to move to Bolivia.
Prediction- Blues 32, San Jose -5. The refs award minus goals to San Jose because they can. Also the league suspends San Jose for the remainder of the season and they have to skip the next draft.
That is all.
P.S. For some amusement go check out the Chicago fans going ape ***** on coach Q and their players. So far with Chicago coach Q is 170(w) 93(L) 35(ot). The most unstable position in all of major sports is the NHL head coach.
