flames are still a joke... still 2 points out of a playoffs spot (with 2 more games played)

I actually hope they make the playoffs, then the red wings or the canucks can embarrass them accordingly

I'd rather see Calgary make the playoffs than Chicago so yay?

The calgary flames coach just said he admires the Boston Bruins.

Sooooo, when's Raymond packing? Remember him in the playoffs last year? I don't. See the problem here? We'd be better off to trade him for a grittier 3rd line player.

Serge ... disrespectively ... my comments

The Canucks dominated most of the game. If you want 60 minutes a night from a team that has their division won you are delusional. The Sedins were magic tonight, we had 3 lines dominate; Calgary has one line that is a threat. I have no idea what the chances were, but all in all this was a great game.

Sadly, hank and dank didn;t get a point, while playing great. And lots of hate on here for Raymond, who I thought played a decent game.

For that matter, Alberts did what he is supposed to do. Played a physical game, and while he got sent to the box, none of it was cheap dirty Boston style crap.

The Canucks haven't lost a game in regulation in almost a month (January 15th).

I remember Raymond played extremely well with Wellwood and Bernier in the playoffs. He is fully capable of rising to the occasion.

Raymond is getting paid 2.5million and his career production has been in line with below average to average second liners. 2.5million is what I expect to pay a frustrating 3rd/2ndliner. You people need to stop freaking out. He is producing to what his salary say he is.

and ... small sample size. Not every player can have a career year at the same time.

we are having another great year, have a great schedule left, and we lose in a SO to the flames (in a game that we were unlucky to lose) and people throw the bandwagon to the rioters?

So, we play our best game in the last month, and lose.

Let's go back to playing like schmucks and winning, please.

Oh dear.

Anyways.

We were down 2-0 on a couple flukey goals and battled back to get a point out of this game.

Kipprusoff brought his A game instead of his usual B- game vs. Vancouver.

7 of 8 points on this roadtrip is ****ing fantastic.

At least the teams showed some more signs of life in the last 35 minutes in the game.

We need Higgins back badly. He's key to our top 9, missed his hard work tonight.

What's with the Raymond bashing? He draws penalties, takes them rarely himself, and is good on the PK.

No thanks. The way the team has been playing has been disturbing. I am more interested in the way they are playing at this stage, than getting points. They are a lock for the playoffs, or as close to it as possible, so I'd just prefer they go in playin their best.

If we can trade Ray for a veteran scoring winger imo we should go for it.

Because with the twins under contract and Edler/Burrows/Coho still having great cap hits, our solid window to win it is this and next season.

My entertainment value on two bottles of wine is epic.

Didn't feel like braving the club scene tonight. I'm sitting here talking on the boards while making verbal cheapshots at my roomie's stupid boy 'visitor'. Super cool Saturday.

God damn, love those jerseys. Flames need to wear them (and the white on the road) full time.
