And Neuvy prevents the quick response.

I will gladly give the kid all the credit he deserves if he can win this game and in good fashion not a 6-5 game or something like that. He looked like **** on the Callahan post shot, completely out of position on that puck.

He's both a great coach and total dick. The combo is a proud tradition.

So Neuvy was solely responsible for that goal? You better take your lips off Vokoun's ass before they become permanetly attached.

Late on this, but I've been laughing at the NBC team not being able to figure out if they want to praise the Rags for preventing the Caps from getting to certain spots or pretend that it's just the Caps being lazy and terrible.

I do too. He is a coach you hate coaching opposing teams. I like his straight forwardness. He can really get under the skin though, especially during the two playoff series with the rangers. I missed the 2003 series when he was in Tampa.

Don't forget boxing out Vokoun in the crease.

He shares responsibility. He went to the splits on a shot well wide that he wasn't screened on.

We're a team that plays good at home and poor on the road. Vokoun gets EVERY home start these days, so Neuvirth only gets the bad caps at front of him. Neuvirth hasn't received a loss at home since November.

Vokoun on the road in 2012:
1-4 3.194 GAA, .914 Sv %, 1 SO

Neuvirth on the road in 2012:
1-2 2.815 GAA, .922 Sv%. 1 SO

Imagine what Neuvirth could be doing if he got some time behind this team in front of him the way they play at home.

As wide open as Callahan was would it have mattered? Looked like a slam dunk no matter what Neuvy did.

Seriously dude learn to ****ing read. I wasn't talking about the goal I was talking about the one off the post. I want nothing but for this kid to succeed and really thought he was solid at times last year and he would take the next step this year because he had the underdog swagger to him last year but he completely lost all of it this year. Dont give me the sophomore slump ******** or the non starter/lack of consecutive games excuse either.

Too much dancing around letting NYR control the puck caused that.

Unfortunate.

I feel like we are the Generals playing the Globetrotters the way NBC is calling this game.
