I know we all want that #1 draft pick, but hey, I wouldn't mind a few more wins considering we are still 11 points behind EDM.

GO JACKETS!!!!

So what exactly has changed the past four games that has enabled us to get these three wins and a near-comeback in the one loss? Granted, we're not playing the top-tier teams in the league right now, but we were struggling against even the run-of-the-mill teams, too.

I think the team finally bottomed out and are now a little bit more right in the head.

I see there are no lineup changes tonight and Johansen will be starting on the fourth line again. While I have no problem with Johansen on the 4th line tonight because he wasn't impressive last night, what I do have a problem with is this team is still playing a guy with 13 career points in the top 6. I don't know if the coach and GM think they are smarter than everyone else, but what in gods name is a .13 ppg player doing in the top 6. I understand he is only getting around 13 minutes per game, but even in those 13 minutes he shouldn't be playing with Carter and Prospal ruining there chances because he has no clue what to do on the ice ever. His entire game consists of dump and chase in which he will retrieve the puck and make a bad pass or just not come up with the puck.

Richards switched Johansen and Gillies last night because Johan looked pretty good. He shot one high and wide on an open net from an opportunity he created. After that, he was moved. He also made a great pass to Brass that then led to Brass passing to Nash on the breakaway. I guess he's giving him another shot at it though (Gillies).

I know he hit the post but saying he played well is a huge stretch based on that. Also you are quite mistaken on the Nash breakaway, Umberger passed to Brassard who passed to Nash, not Johansen.

I havent looked at it. Dont care to look but I'm remembering what Davidge said. I thought he played hard all game. And no, I'm not basing it solely on him missing the net.

What kind of goal was that?

Mason blew all his good stuff last night apparently.

Well you remembered wrong, because it was Umberger at 4:21 left in the 2nd period. Playing hard and playing good aren't the same thing btw. Jarrod Boll plays hard but he sucks. Johansen needs to pick it up plain and simple.

Wow. I said I remember what Davidge said. You should really read fully before you post. Theres a difference between Boll and Johansen. He's 19 and probably should be in Juniors. Boll is a 4th liner...

I know Brass is great at hitting the trailer, but I'd like to see him try and go wide on some of these 1 on 1s...
