Patrick Holland on trade to Montreal

I found this little story today about Patrick Holland's reaction to his trade to Montreal in the Cammalleri deal: http://www.calgaryherald.com/sports/...326/story.html

Funny how he jokingly predicted he was part of the trade before he was told.

He can speak French. If he doesn't make it as player, he can always apply for the coaching job.

He is third on the Tri-City Americans with points, has 20 goals and 67 points in less than 50 games and is a right wing, I can see this kid on one of the top three lines in Montreal playing with the likes of Pacioretty, Gallagher and Kristo in the future, plus he is 20 which means that he will be in Hamilton next season.

Holy batman, talk about overhyping a prospect.

Even Holland himself said his chances to make the NHL are realistically slim. So please.

I know it's easy to read stats, and try and predict some sort of future out of them, but try not to.

Dis you notice that even with the ******** of points he has, he's not even in the top2 of his team? I think his stats are inflated by the team he plays for but he's an interesting prospect nonetheless, but try not to overrate him.

Well some Flames fans were disappointed to see him go, which is always a good sign.

In that list, I saw Guy Charron as the best coach....

Might be an option for Montreal next season ?

he was assistant-coach for the habs for a couple of seasons and had been head coach in the past for Calgary and Anaheim...

And we all know he is bilingual.

He has been our assistant before in 2002/2003

and has worked with Jacques Martin during his time in Florida...

Some very flattering opinions in there of Gallagher. Bodes well for us that he is seen as such a highly regarded Pro prospect.

The Western Conference of the Western Hockey League. And Holland is 20 already. Good to hear, but it probably doesn't mean anything.
