Yeah, cause the last 4 Goalies we threw out against em did such a stellar job, as well.

Can't wait to see how this loss gets spun.
Blaming it on Nicky and Green being out is getting old.
If it's that much of a problem, then GMGM should really get on fixing it, cause obviously calling up Rechlicz, Aucoin, or Eakin isn't ****ing working.

Hey, nice one Orlov!

I already have and am about to sign off until the next game. Fortunately this provides the time I need to actually do the studying I should have been doing. I'll keep checking the score on nhl.

I was just thinking to myself how unfortunate it was that that line was getting all that zone time but didn't have a single member talented enough to make the slightest thing out of it. Then the puck went to Orlov, whom I hadn't noticed out. Then he used his talent.

The booing was disgraceful. There's was no lack of effort, and the Caps have controlled play for the most part.

Any booers and those that supported it should be ashamed.

Orlov has kind of a knuckle-puck thing going on. 10 minute wind up, uncontrollable shot, but the goalie isn't much of a factor.

Funny thing is he had a scratch from his own team mates stick hitting him the face, and then he held Halperns stick and it barely grazed him and he grabs his face.

I actually don't think the efforts been bad at all. Your not gonna control a team like the Sharks for the whole game no matter who you are.

Ovechkins looked pretty good to

Yeah like right through his chest cavity.

Back to shooting on net, it just seems like the Boys miss wide or high a lot on slappers. Like they spend to much time trying to aim. Just get the friggin thing on net. Make the goalie play it. All three SJ goals came on odd bounces or deflections. Seems like the Caps would be better off if they just got pucks on net. Enough of the fancy crap, especially from Wideman and his exaggerated windup's.

Holtby has to blank them next period, but no reason we cant come back.

We are getting good chances. Just put it on net. We aren't facing a brick wall here.

It's not about effort but execution. The PP has been the big difference between home and road and it's fading. Wideman's play the past few in the offensive zone isn't helping.

The fans sense the needed urgency here and aren't really seeing it. San Jose hasn't dominated but they've been efficient with their chances.

Needed that late one. Now do something with the momentum.

One bad PP and its a bad PP, all the PPs before hand great chances and controlling the play. The problem is only Semin and Ovechkin can actually hit at least the post, unlike the other guys who have a wide open net and throw it high...

I guess it's my opinion, but I think it's disgraceful to boo lack of execution. Lack of effort, or blatant disrespect of the fans are the only instances I can ever accept booing your own team (and I'll still never do it).

The NBC announcers are saying its been all Sharks which is BS. Their PP has been great, but the caps have dominated at even strength. This team needs more skilled guys to bury the puck though. And with Holtby starting , Schultz playing, Perreault centering the 1st line instead of Mojo, and 2 CBJ scouts in the house, I can't help but think they're being showcased.

It was one bad PP when there has been a few very good ones with lack of finish from anyone except Ovi or Semin.

Its not even a new problem for the Caps, been going on all year long, guys get the puck and go spastic and miss a wide open net trying to go top shelf.

Bingo! Look at MoJo in the first. He tried top shelf when he had about 2/3 of the net to pot it in. The dumb tips are just getting annoying.

I agree. I have never once boo'd for the 10 years I have been going. We are playing great effort wise. We just can't finish. Stupid to boo

Not sure what any of that has to do with my post, but ok.
