Brodeur. The Devils probably don't make it past the 2nd round if he didn't step up as he did.

I'd add Henrique.
Cluth goals, and he generated a lot of offense.. just couldn't find the back of ht net for the life of him. Every time he was on the ice, good things were happening.

1. Marty
2. Sal
3. Henrique

Salvador, Marty, Henrique, Kovy, Zajac

**** it, most of them were solid throughout even if some didn't chip in enough offensively.

Easily Brodeur. Salvador was the most surprising player and probably second best.

Kovalchuk put up points, but man did he suck without the puck (yes yes, injuries).

Honestly, we don't have a playoff MVP.

There isn't a single player that showed up for all 4 series.

That's not a knock on the team, it's just hard to get consistent production over the course of 25 games.

The reason we got so far is because when one guy underperformed, someone was there to pick them up.

Best player in the Florida series was Zajac. Best in the Flyers series was probably Salvador. Best in the Rangers series was probably the 4th line. Best in the Kings series was Brodeur.

Only one that stood out for all four series was Elias. He laid an egg this postseason.

Seriously? Which series did Brodeur not show up for? Or Bryce Salvador for that matter.

Marty was shaky in the early first round, but showed up when we needed him to later in that round.

Brodeur was hit or miss a lot this postseason. He had a couple blunders with the puck and the trapezoid. He was shaky in some of the Florida series.

He got stronger as the postseason went on, no doubt.

Gotta go with Marty.

Honorable mention goes to Henrique for being CLUTCH.

Oh and Salvie deserves a nod as well.

Marty had his moments of shakiness, but so did the whole team during that first round.
Anyone remember that ridiculous stat line he had for the 3rd period throughout the first two rounds?

For all of Marty's shakiness, this team doesn't get out of those OT games without him.
Or any of those "cling on for dear life" games throughout the series.
