I never had one. Just the regular controller and the gun, mine was orange. But I did run around the house making lazer sounds shooting at the dogs. I tripped over the cable more times than I'd care to admit.

I bought one of those not too long ago and probably paid way too much for it

I'm a video game nostalgia nut. If I didn't keep it from my childhood, I'll buy it. I still have everything from the Power Pad to the blue edition Sega Game Gear. That goes for board games as well. I just purchased a mint condition Omega Virus board game a couple of months back. We have a blast with it when friends come over.

This board gives games the respect they deserve

My Dreamcast has been on loan to a friend for what feels like eons. Tokyo Xtreme Racer is my favorite game on that. At some point I'd like to buy the Japanese version so I can play the Robotech game that came out for it.

Last game I played on the NES was TMNT. My girlfriend owns at Tetris and especially Dr. Mario.

What's your poison?

NES = Mike Tyson Punchout, Final Fantasy, Mega Man 2, Ninja Gaiden

Dreamcast = Resident Evil 1 & 2, Phantasy Star Online

Playstation - Jade Cocoon & Legend of Legaia

Pretty much the only older console games I play anymore.

And speaking of TMNT...

I hadn't played my sharks be a gm since probably january because I ****ed up the team after the first season, but I deleted it and started a new one a few weeks ago.

Traded Nemo+Havlat (sorry SSG ) for Hedberg+Kovalchuk+some picks. Then as that roster update (the one after Kubina trade) had Niitty as a UFA, I signed him to 3 years 1 million per year.

IIRC, Couture, Desi69 and Demers (+Niitty) were the only ones that survived my slaughter of the team.

Also, traded Sheppard back to Minnesota for Mi. Granlund and he's my 2C now. MG looks good in teal.

****ing love Punchout

I really need to bone up on TMNT. I heard they started out quite dark and gruesome in book-form or something of that nature.

In 2011 they published new comics for TMNT (starting at the beginning) I love them so far. I'd let you borrow it but you live too far

TMNT was my life growing up. This is when they had the animated series on TV so it was nothing dark, but it'd be interesting to read their origins.

I didn't trade a single first.

Kovalchuk-Couture-Tootoo
Demers-Chara

Frolik-Granlund-Fisher
Leddy-Sbisa

Blake-Gomez-Burish
Vandermeer-Spacek

Desi-Koivu-Artyukhin

Niitty, Hedberg (Greiss @AHL)

I wasn't planning on getting Gomez, but I had like my team already set when I noticed that I still had Trollton and I was pretty close to the salary floor. So I got a lot of picks with Gomez for him.

edit: Gomez has zero trade value.

Whenever I play be a GM it drives me insane I always end up trading for Larsson, Couturier, and Landeskog. They all have obscene potential.

I will have to stop over at Nemo's Comics in SLO to check them out.

For real. I had their shoes from Payless when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade. I should get me some velcro.

I usually just try to get one of them (Granlund this time) because the cost is so damn high.

Before they fixed the rosters after a the first year of a franchise, granlund would always be a UFA that you could sign for max ELC I was so sad when it was fixed.

Didn't know about this, I got NHL12 late december so it was probably fixed by then.

Just downloaded the newest roster update, Miettinen is still a leftie.

Niitty gone from UFA to Syracuse, serves him right. Rot in the AHL *****.
