OT: Mike Comrie retires

I know he drove me nuts quite often during his time here (ah, that toe drag move...), but you never like to see a guy retire due to chronic injury.

Well, maybe some of you would like to see a player retire due to his chronic knees, but that's for another thread.

- Born into a very well off family

- Talented enough to play NHL hockey (not to diminish the almost inconceivable hard work he probably he had to go through)

- Gets to marry a hollywood starlet.

Hard to feel sorry for a guy like that, but still sucks that injuries derailed his career.
