I sat here for about 10 minutes trying to decide who I'd rather listen to, Chico or Laughlin, and ultimately realized that death is the only option.

What garbage. I went to go sync my radio with TV so I didn't have to listen to Emrick and I found out that the TV is about 5 or 10 seconds ahead of the radio (both 98.7 & 1050). I've never seen this before.

easy fix, just pause the tivo/dvr for 5-10 seconds and then hit play

Normally the radio is way ahead of the TV though. 1050 was always ahead of TV. It was easy to just use a program like radio delay to get it to match up. Now unless you have a DVR, you can't get the radio to match the TV. That also means that you can only watch the game in one room.

Isn't the radio usually ahead of TV?

Last night it was TV that was way ahead of radio.

It did sync up I think in the 3rd period.

Pretty weak call if you ask me. I'd rather have Howie Rose for that one. Alberts sounded like he was napping prior to the call.

Just checked on the Knick game. It's still about 10 or 15 seconds behind the TV.

Seriously? The end of triple OT and you're complaining that KA doesn't have enough energy?

Kenny Albert never seems like the kind of guy who will go crazy when something big happens. I just can't hear it in his voice.

So now everyones an expert?

The entire season noone has mentioned the Rangers on the radio except for Boomer now everyone is an expert on the Rangers..lol They cant score 5on5.. the fans should be nervous..Tortorella bla bla bla.. Where were these so called experts when we were in first place the ENTIRE season now that we have a game 7 and the #*(%#( Knicks are out and no Jets comotion we have no one to talk about.. they make me laugh.. most of these comentators cant name even 5 Rangers. I'm not nervous at all we are gonna come out guns blazing no doubt.

Let's face it, this is a playoff league that has a ton of fans who barely pay attention until the playoffs start. It's not just media.

I heard this "can't score 5 on 5" crap. We can't score on the power play either.

Even strength scoring is down across the board in the playoffs. Nature of the beast. If you can't take advantage of powerplay opportunities you won't get far. This is the Rangers biggest issue, not 5 on 5 play.

Has anybody thought of getting affiliates for the Rangers so you can hear them in New Haven/Upper Hudson Valley/Central NJ?
