Halak Going for No. 100

Currently sitting on 99 wins, Jaroslav Halak will be going for 100 Tuesday against the Blue Jackets.

He turns 27 in May, and I don't think he's reached his full potential, so hopefully there will be many more to come.

I would feel more than a little disappointed if he didn't get it tomorrow against Columbus

Haha... Careful, remember what happened in columbus last year? They destroyed us and Oshie busted his ankle in a scrap.

Underestimating any team and thinking its an easy win a head of time is NOT wise.

So agree. Even the worst team gets a few wins. I think we all must feel deep down this should be a win; but we should not speak of such a thing right?

I'm not saying I expect a win, just that I'd be disappointed if we didn't win.

Of course, I'm disappointed every time we don't win so I guess that not saying much.

Exactly what I'm saying. Its not as if I expect a win and expect a W in the column, this is just a game the Blues should win.

Looks like he'll be waiting for the 100th. I expect Elliott in the net Thursday and also get the start against Minnesota in the first half of back-to-back games this weekend. Halak back in net sunday in Chicago.

How times have changed for Halak. After the Blues not making the playoffs last year they are now fighting for the best record in hockey and Halak is a big part of the success. On the other hand Montreal is in last place in the Eastern division at the moment.
