Buffalo has under a half an hour until their selection is auto drafted.

2 minutes left...

Buffalo has missed their time limit to make a selection.

They select: Defenseman Ryan Murray.

The Islanders are on the clock. They have 2 hours to make their selection.

With the 6th overall selection in the NHL entry draft, the New York Islanders select, from the Red Deer Rebels of the Western Hockey League, defenseman Mathew Dumba.

Considering the Islanders have him at 3 on their draft board behind Yakupov and Murray, we're extremely glad four forwards went in the first five picks to allow Dumba to fall to us.

Lot's of great guys still available. Anaheim considered Dumba, but Galchenyuk's talent simply cannot be denied. Having a guy with first line star potential playing the second line behind Getzlaf? Perfect. We think he'll mesh perfectly with Emerson Etem who plays a somewhat similar game to Alex's former teammate Nail Yakupov.

Montreal normally would've had just under an hour to make a selection...but their GM has made it impossible to notify him of his turn by blocking private messages.

Montreal autoselects:

Radek Faksa

Ugly spot in the draft.

Winnipeg selects Sebastian Collberg.

Dallas has 28 minutes to make their selection. Come on guys. I notified everyone about the draft start. No one sent me safety lists. And I made it clear we were starting right away. I don't want to see anyone get upset if they don't get who they want.

Dallas has been given plenty of time to make their selection. Minnesota picked more than 30 minutes after Winnipeg so Dallas did not earn their extra hour.

Dallas auto selects:

Brendan Gaunce

I was just wondering what you were using to decide the auto picks

Rankings in general.

Gaunce is a top defensive center. Dallas can use one of those.
Same goes for Faksa.

I WOULD cater to everyone's preferences if I knew what they were. I only received one preference list.
