For the record though, I still don't think Karlsson is gonna pass McIver's record.

If it makes you guys feel any better, I hate your team more then any other in the league but Karlsson is something special and I would take him over Subban any day.

Don't waste your breath.

I don't think Subban is as bad as his current season indicates.

But let's be real here. One guy has stepped up to be one of the elite guys in the league this year, and one guy hasn't.

When they're comparing Karlsson with Phil Housley, then I know that no amount of rationalization will do.

My favourite:

I'd be surprised if Karlsson even knew what the defensive zone was.

Where are people getting this idea that Karlsson is playing like a 4th forward? Aside from the occasional rush/pinch he does almost all of his work with all opposing players in front of him.

Also Subban's league lead in minor penalties means he's not very good at helping his team keep the puck out of its own net.

Yes, but it does reinforce his pwnage in "agitation".

Karlsson.

spends 26+ minutes on the ice and doesn't know how to play defense? People around the league are idiots. They should probably pay attention to some Ottawa games and watch Karlsson more closely. He is as affective in the D zone as in the O zone. PK Subban will never be what Karlsson is. PK Subban isn't that good defensively by comparison and he is no where near Karlsson offensively.

Subban doesn't even belong in the same sentence as Karlsson right now, he may one day but right now it's not even close.

Habs fans are absolutely delusional and come across as not only massive homers but total morons.

No, let it go.

We don't want a backlash.

He played extremely well on a national broadcast last night. A Canuck fan already started up a thread about him yesterday.

He's winning people over with his on-ice play.

Give him time to prove what we already know.

To be fair, the majority of them aren't saying right now, but some day.

Yeah- we've got "scoreboard" on them right now.

Someone on the main board said EK wasn't a top 10 defender

Needless to say, I went on an absolute mad one..
