Put Kostitsyn with Eller and Leblanc and you have a good line.
Seriously, if the plan was to bring in a coach with no experience because he might make the team more gritty than letting Muller go looks even worse, Muller did a far better job coaching his team today.
They are playing more fun under Cunneyworth, but who cares when the coach has no idea how to manage any formation besides one line.
There's not one player I hate more on this team than Chris Campoli.
Kaberle is bad but at least he has the ability to contribute offensively.
Campoli is on the ice for multiple goals against EVERY SINGLE GAME. He's soft, had no idea how to play d and ruins any possible scoring chances. Who the hell would sign this guy. He had no redeeming qualities. NONE.
Ps. Eller is begging to get new wingers. He's been playing great, but no reward. I hope he gets white. And Scott Gomez ha no room on the PP...complelty unacceptable.

The same player that does absolutely nothing with every linemate with every player he's paired with. Remember how bad Plek-Bourque looked with Gomez? Took him out, and wow, they look better..

Yep, that's precisely the "softness" this team MUST rid itself of. If we're going to have someone just twirl around the net but is slow at processing what to do next, give me someone who can hit hard and also do one of the following:
1. Fight
xor
2. Troll
We're also 2 games ahead of 5 of 7 teams below us. 1 game ahead of 1 and tied with another. 3 of those 5 teams need 1 point to tie us in next 2 GP. 1 of the 5 need 2 pts in 2 GP to tie us. A few wins by them and a few losses by us and we're 2nd or 3rd last.
Obviously, mathematically it doesn't look good. Problem with those teams is that they are just awful and worst than us. I didn't check, but unless they are playing each other, chances are they'll lose more than they wins. Frankly, I see our battle as being us vs 1 of Florida/Washington. Or even Ottawa and Toronto. That's it.
I mean whether it's Martin or Cunneyworth, you have the feeling that they think they are coaching a better team than they actually have. Whether it's effort or mediocre talent, AKost is not worst than most of the players out there. You have to work with what you have. And as much as I like to criticize him, you have to prefer a AKost to a Darche, a Palushaj or to a Gomez combined...You have to.
