No big one yet, think it's gonna happen during the first GWC attempt.

Well sucks that Stewart crashed, but at least he took out just about every other chase driver in the process.

Lousy race at Dega as usual. Run around for 95% of the race trying not to wreck, then a late pass attempt triggers the Big One (TM), and the guys lucky enough to escape it get the top spots.

Just run 20 laps here, call it a sprint, and be done with it.

The original concussion happened at a test at Kansas. He should have took time off when that happened. He could have easily wrecked at New Hampshire and got another concussion.

I agree plate races are silly, but they are not going anywhere.

guess who's back though:

Allmendinger is now in the 51; remember Kurt's now in the 78....

as for Dale, concussions are cumulative, so it didn't appear Sunday's incident would've led to today's announcement, he even said Kansas improved its facility until the tire test, you also forget, 2002, Jr. admitted he had one thenv and he was in his 3rd full year @ DEI.

BTW, Biffle on pole for Bank of America 500 on ABC Saturday

At the time I wrote that, I wasn't aware Jr had suffered the concussion at Kansas. So I'll retract that part of my criticism.

I still can't stand Talladega races though.
