It's because MSG and MSG+ are considered "seperate" networks -- Isles/Devils will get MSG+ whenever possible, with the second team on MSG+ 2 (which even less providers carry). Rangers have highest priority unless kicked off by the Knicks, in which case we get MSG 2 (which is becoming less of a big deal as more providers add it in HD)

No. Actually what I meant was if Bickel indeed plays on the third pairing with Staal, someone probably would be double shifted to play the fourth line RW, with Emi just geeting the odd shift on D.
