Did everyone see this article. I saw it yesterday but just got a chance to post. I love the last quote by Wilson!

Bridgestone Arena is a classy spot. It is clean, well designed, and located in an entertainment district, which draws visitors and gives them a reason to stick around after the game. However, Nashville fans seem to go out of their way to make opposing team's fan uncomfortable and unwelcome. It is one thing to boo or yell during the game, but I shouldn't have to feel threatened on the way to the bathroom just because I am wearing the opposing teams gear. This has happened every single time I have been to a Nashville game. My only response has been to ask the usually drunken heckler if they can count the number of banners hanging from the rafters for me. Most don't get my point, but it makes me feel better.
I don't remember this happening that often..................

I don't either. My guess is the poster's yelling and booing during the game and public banner tallies provoked later uncomfortability when s/he left to go to the restroom. I've never seen people who were wearing opposing fan gear and minding their own business be attacked in any way.

Most opposing fans I've seen catch hell were obnoxious in the first place.

I agree.

Normally people who are just there to see the game are welcomed. Civility is respected, but when people are "uncivil" in some way..... well, it tends to come back at them.

My guess she is a Wings bandwagoner who doesn't know about a time pre-Lidstrom who gets loud and gets mad when it comes back her way.
