At least with this Minnesota professional franchise they spent time on top.

Welp, the GF confirmed it, I am watching tonights game on DVR delay. So expect some kind of profanity filled rant from me around 1am or something when I finish watching it.

I Cant decide if I want to find a stream of it at work & make the last hour go by faster & then just re-watch the beginning with the GF when I get home or if I want to avoid the internet completely for 1 1/2 hours at the end of the day..

i dont like either option..

Id watch the Bruins / Ramgers game but they'll scroll the scores so I might as well just watch the Wild if Im going to see the score anyways..

What would you guys do?

Just remember the mantra of the Minnesota sports fan: "Each failure makes the championship we'll someday win that much sweeter."

Championship parades as a Yankees fan must feel so hollow.

I'm streaming both, starting with Bruins of course as it starts at 7pm est. Then I'll take the sound off of Bs game and switch to Wild. .... Aaand later go back to Bruins game as Wild will be losing 3-0 after 1st intermission

I dont know anymore...

Im starting to think its pretty easy to go a lifetime without seeing your team win these days...

My dad just turned 70, he's never seen the Vikings win anything or the North Stars or Wild win either. (He's not a big baseball or bball fan)

My friends Dad is 60, been waiting his whole life to see the Kings win a cup...

granted that these guys didnt have a team from the day they were born BUT, there were less teams, less parity back then..

I honestly dont think I'll ever see the Wild or Vikings win it all in my lifetime & Im only 30.. I think we're cursed... The Vikings will win it all within 10 years of going to LA & the Wild will win the year after I die. haha

So the GF told me to be ready to go by 5. I was. Its now almost 6 and shes been getting ready for almost a half hour, and shes still not ready.

At this rate, I might catch the first period before we leave for dinner.

Aw, the good ol' days...

Back in 2003 I was still happy just having a hockey team again & then they went ahead & did something awesome like making it to the WCF's... Now just having a hockey team again isn't enough to make me happy & they're not doing anything awesome...

Let's see if these boys can turn this thing around tonight. Still a chance to make the Big Dance.

For those of you lucky ******** that have female included plans tonight, if tonight carries over to tomorrow, try adding a little Amaretto to your french toast batter. Won't get you drunk, but really adds a nice almondy flavor to your french toast.

The link on page 3 aint working for me.. (Im at work so I cant download players) anyone have another link to the game? I got an hour of work left & hockey makes it so much more bearable even if it's watching us get manhandled by another team below us in the standings..

If the Ducks win, they have to reach in a grab bag and either pick Zid, Zanon, or Schultz to take home with them. Think of it as a mysterious box of chocolates.

So I was invited to a Pheasant hunt thru work this weekend. It sounds like I will probably be coming home with a dozen birds for the freezer. I eat a lot of venison, but I really only have 1 recipe for pheasant.

Anyone have any pheasant recipes to share?
