May as well give it a shot. Nothing can save this team from themselves.

Yeah, sure, after the first two parachutes fail, try your shirt.

Just admit you are wrong on Emery... No goalie is going to look solid behind Quenneville's putrid nonexistent D.

Might as well. I don't see Emery having a future here, and Crow is going to be around because of the contract. Go with Crow/Salak the rest of the way.

Emery blows, Crawford is in a sophomore slump. Make a trade or let the Salak expiriment begin.

Hell, I am at the point that I say put John Scott back there and let his body take the pounding. I know it's ridiculous idea, but so is allowing Emery/CrawyourbuttbacktoRockford to remain the goal.

May as well have an empty net and ice 6 attackers. But it's not like they could even gain the zone with 6 attackers, so that wouldn't work either.

This thread is as relevant now as it would have been in September. He is at 42/43 since coming back. What else does he have to do? We're lucky to have him but too stupid to use him.

Wow, he's had a whole two good games (one of which he didn't even start) since coming back from a two month injury?

Man, he's really beating the door down.

Crawford/Emery most likely couldn't stop their next 42/43 in Rockford with where they are at right now so yeah, he's earned it. Those two bums need a wake up call. Huet/Niemi got it from Crawford in the Cup year and these guys are doing way worse.

What? Crawford was awful in his call up that year. I'll never forget that 2nd goal where he came all the way out to the dot for no apparent reason only to get stripped of the puck and scored on.

The only reason he got called up then in the first place was because Huet had the flu and it was a convenient chance to get a read on where Crawford was at.

Niemi was pretty much the established starter by that point, with his 18-5-2 and 2.31 GAA. No wake up call was needed for him.

Can't help but laugh every time I see a picture of Salak. Probably has some giraffe in his heritage.

The giraffe is what this team needs. He's a puckivore, bring him up.

No, no, no. We need Shaw. We don't need Emery. Waive him. If the organization doesn't want him around the youngsters, send him to Toledo. Just get him off our roster.

Bring Salak up, have him suck, then start random threads asking "did we get enough for Jack Skille?".

Yeah!

More like he comes up and is a marked improvement while you stay away from the boards because of it.

Don't waste Salaks development on a struggling defensive team.
