From Mitch, one of the "MR BURNS" guys in Saint Paul, Minn.
Q: After this season, where do you think you'll feel most comfortable - defense or forward?
BB: I already feel more comfortable on ĎDí now. You get the puck more and get into the game a little more. In defense, if you make a mistake everyone in the rink knows it, so it makes you focus more. You canít be lackadaisical.
Interesting...I guess we know where he likes to be...

Just looking at the Aeros stats this morning. Top scorers:

Foy 6 games, 2 goals, 3 assists
Bouchard 5 games 1 goal 4 assists
Burns 6 games 2 goals 2 assists.

Burns has 1 PP goal, and 1 SH goal, and he leads the team in shots . I'm starting to drool at the though of him and Thelen on the points of the Wild power play a couple years down the road.

I think the crazy thing about Burns is the fact he wasn't considered much of a prospect util he was switched to forward his last year in juniors. Yet, he wasn't showing a lot of pro potential at forward here, so we switch him back and he is showing elite potential...I guess he would officially be a late bloomer. If he and Thelen learn to be a little more physical we could have 2 of the more elite D-men in the leauge. Both have tremendous size, both have tremndous offensive skills...that is a defensive pairing to look forward to.

Burns, sadly, is one of the more physical of all the defensemen the Wild have, that also can shoot the puck.
