If he's here, that second goal likely doesn't happen because Komisarek isn't out there with Phaneuf.

The Komi-Schenn pairing is a disaster waiting to happen. Wilson might as well put up two posts at our blueline -- they're just as easy to get around as Komisarek and Schenn.

Why is Bob McCown on Sportsnet's trade deadline show? He always cuts up the wall-to-wall coverage of trade deadline day.

Can't really blame the goalie in the PS or shootout. If it gets to that point, a save is a bonus, not an expectation.

I didn't see the play that caused the PS though.

It's probably better for you to vent your unfocused rage on these boards, rather than letting it bottle up deep inside and give you ulcers or something.

I'm not saying to stop, I'm just saying it's going to happen.

Dion and Phil actually tied with 69 missed shots, 25-26th in the league and in good company on the list.

Rinse and repeat: The powerplay is brutal, our defense is bad, goaltending is poor and we're not going to get 3 goals by Kipper. This game is over. We really need to get some solid goaltending, it's deflating our team.

He's as bi-polar as the fanbase he mocks.

Again, I don't think the Leafs have played badly today. Gustavsson is just a below average goaltender while Kipper is an above average one. Hitting 3 posts hasn't help on our part either, but when it rains it pours.

Gus has been the only one to show up for the game and Bozak. Even though we are down by 2 Gus has made some great saves.

Calgary and Kipper shut the door in the final 20.

Jiri Tlusty's not looking too bad these days, but of course trading him for Philippe Paradis was a good idea...

We've hit a few posts, bury those in the 3rd and it's tied. We didn't allow a goal in the 2nd from any breakdowns like the 1st. PS was kind of unlucky. Gus woulda had the shot had Dion not hooked the guy anyway.

It's possible. It's not over yet!
