Better stay away from watching the Leafs games for awhile. This can't be good for anyone's mental or emotional health.

They'll be the team against which the other teams will try varying strategies because they know they're virtually guaranteed a win. A test team, so to speak.

Lol, are you guys forgetting were a young team? Were prone for mistakes. It's just some people like that can't accept.

Like what Mansfield said, we shut down Tavares and Malkin in back to back nights. We can show we play good defense. It's just we need to be consistent. Try a few more years and this team will be alot better.
Any idiot can put together a young team and be like "hey look! we're young!"

It doesnt mean your team is better than it is, or in it's way to being a contender. In the case of the Leafs, how long do you expect our best young players to stick around on a team this bad?

Phaneuf, Komisarek, Liles, Connolly, Lombardi, Crabb

With the exception of Dion, I just listed the oldest leafs on the team and none of them played well tonight, and none of them (except Lombo who just has no hockey IQ anyways) showed any desire to persevere

Consistency starts with your veterans, and they just arent consistent

I've read many times that laughing is good for your health.

Why? This is nothing new. This is the norm except we are still in a playoff position as of now.

That's the sad part, he's the best of the worst.

I just hope Burke doesn't mess things up so bad before the deadline that our next GM has nothing to work with.

That's the lamest excuse in the book when we lose. Young team!?

Phaneuf makes rookie mistakes every damn game, Schenn is playing like he's in the WHL not the NHL, our third line sucks, our first line is defensively incapable, our goaltending is a question mark, everyone in our D plays terrible defensively besides Gunnar.

If this is what a young team is like, I wonder why Edmonton has great specialty teams and good team defense.

Young has nothing to do with it, it's an excuse, that I hope Burke won't try to shove on to us when we miss the playoffs, if it comes to that.

I'm surprised that no one tries to put a drink on Connolly's head because he's the biggest coaster around.

Ignore button at your disposal!

Only reason I made that was I asked previously, with no reply. Mods know better, I fully agree, but they can surely clear the confusion.

I'm not even going to watch the next 2 games against Edmonton and Canucks. Edmonton is a great offensive team so we are going to get lit up. Canucks well they are going to pound us physically.
