He's reffing like he always does. Nothing different here. Montreal is a non-playoff team, and Boston is, so Boston gets the break. That's how the NHL has always worked.

Back to tank nation.

the real truth of this season has been that the defense has been putrid and Price has had a subpar year. The good news is that Diaz and Yemelin have been getting better as the season goes along and next year will be better.

Oh, the irony, Marchand trying to hold Subban back.

Holding someone back =/= choking.

You don't win with a defense consisting of Chris Campoli getting top 4 mins, and an over-the-hill Hal Gill.

Edit: and Tomas Kaberle.

I used to defend the Kaberle trade. No more.

He's a bad bad bad player.

Price is not subpar. He's got the lousiest defence I've seen in Montreal since...shlit, I can't even remember.

Boston is 25-0 when leading by 2 goals at any point in a game this season. Wow.

You know, letting Kostitsyn walk doesn't mean we get to pick up one of the guys from the 03 draft you and your ilk are always obsessing over.

The defense was 1 Markov away from being more than decent.

Markov's never ending injury cost us the season.

Price's "sub-par" play this year is a product of the absolutely putrid defense in front of him....

Face it: the GM some of you think did ok has his fingerprints all over the defensive corps: soft, soft and soft. You take out Subban and Emelin (and Gorges, maybe), and you have a Cottonelle-like defensive corps. Doux comme du vrai coton.

That same GM signed both Diaz and Emelin.
