With so much of the hawks discussions these days revolving around goaltending, does anyone have an opinion on Carter Hutton? I can't seem to find any gameplay footage of him online and I haven't been too keen on predicting his season based on his stats from the AHL.
So, some questions:
Will he give Crowford a run for the starting position? Will Q even give him any ice time?
If not a starter, what about the backup position? Rebound Ray has one more year on his contract and I would love to see some new blood between the pipes.
Sorry if these have already been answered, feel free to link any other relevant discussions.
Why not, improve from within is the battle cry, right? Sight unseen in the NHL he improves the backup position. If things go south, he can be in the bottom 10% of the league and still be at least a wash. Also frees cap space.
