This team makes me wonder.

Which one will show up tonight? The team that shutout the high flying penguins? or the team that got blown out by the low flying habs?

A W would be nice.

go leafs go!

Need the W. Plain and simple.

I hope someone (from the leafs...)can set the tone early with a big hit.

Side note ~ is RNH playing tonight?

haven't both his injuries been against the Leafs? maybe he'll sit out even if he is ready to return.

If we lose this game, I honestly think our season is done. After this game we go into easily our toughest stretch of the season schedule-wise, from February 18th - March 24th our schedule is:

@Vancouver
NJ
SJ
Washington
Florida (b2b game 1)
@Chicago (b2b game 2)
@Montreal
Boston (b2b game 1)
@Pittsburgh (b2b game 2)
Philly (b2b game 1)
@Washington (b2b game 2)
@Florida
@Tampa
@Ottawa
@Boston (b2b game 1)
NYI (b2b game 2)
@NJ (b2b game 1)
NYR (b2b game 2)

Insanely tough strength of schedule, almost entirely good to great teams, virtually no easy games. 5 pairs of back-to-back games, and 10 of 18 games on the road. After this brutal 18 game stretch their are just 6 games left in the season, those last 6 are somewhat easier, but still not super easy. If we lose against Edmonton, then when we start this killer stretch from February 18th - March 24th we'll likely be around 9th in the east, and going into a very tough stretch already super-down due to a 5 game losing streak, that sounds like no playoffs to me.

Must, MUST WIN game tonight.

been a rough February but a win tonight will make things look a lot better. we are still in good position to decide our own fate and thats a lot more than previous seasons.

I think the rotating goalie situation is ill-advised and our team cant seem to get in sync like they did when we rode Gus in January. Wilson should pick one and let him play everynight and get some sort of rhythm with our lineup.

it's really annoying to see how many back to back games the leafs have had this season.

I'm sick of seeing Connolly on the PP instead of Kulemin. No wonder he isn't scoring.

Kulemin played most of the season on the 2nd pp unit. He wasnt getting it done and doesnt have any confidence. Connolly didnt look that bad with Grabo last night, I think once they get attuned to each other they will produce some nice scoring plays.

Kulemin on the 3rd line makes it a much better line at both ends. Lombadri needs some sort of new game plan tho. All he ever attempts to do is drive wide using his speed and float a soft shot at the goalie and try to fluke one in. Its easy to predict exactly what hes going to do everytime hes on the rush.

Does anyone agree with me about making Gardiner our number 1 D? Phagoof is struggling a lot and Gardiner has been our best D in these 4 losses. Would also be a good wake up call for the other vets because a rookie is outplaying them all badly and looks like the only player that has been giving effort on the backend recently

Best chance for a win we have.

The last time I felt like this, the next day, the Phaneuf trade was made.

If we don't win tonight, its going to get very ugly.
