The Raptors are closer to a playoff spot right now than the Leafs are
That has as much to do with the tremendous lack of balance and depth in the top-heavy east than it does any sort of success on the part of the Raptors.

13-14 Sharks CI Feed Tracker: 26 GP |8-8-10 (SJ-Opponent-Van/Nat'l) www.bluejayshipsters.comWe liked the Blue Jays before it was cool. Sorry, I am not taking signature requests at this time.
From Casey's post-game yesterday after beating Cleveland:
The Raptors have been fielding calls all year but have not been particularly aggressive on the trade front. The plan remains to keep all options open for next season, which means not taking on any more salary extending past this season. “No. I don’t sense anything happening, especially anything that’s going to affect our flexibility, cap flexibility next season, us going into free agency,” Casey said when queried whether he is expecting any action at Thursday’s trade deadline …
I don't understand why Knicks hired D'Antoni in the first place. Sorry, but I don't consider coaching if all you're doing is running up the court and taking a shot within 5-10 seconds of a shot clock while playing no defense.
And lol @ Melo wanting out. It seems like whatever move that organization makes is a mistake.
raptors should hire d'antoni and revive some of that phx magic
Wow.. just ignore the fact that Dwane Casey is the most professional and organized coach the Raptors have ever had. And a fantastic fit for the current squad. He needs more talent to succeed, and he'll get it soon enough (hopefully).
We couldn't even get a 1st? Late 1st in NBA are thrown out there like they are worth nothing.
Seems like Anthony Carter is heading there as well. So that will leave us just Bayless as the healthy point guard?
Forbes has been playing some PG when he manages to get into games. There's basically no room for him to play SF anyway.
EDIT: getting just a 2nd makes no sense. Barbosa is an expiring contract. So it's not like we're taking less in return to get cap space back for next year. If this is the only trade the team makes, then it seems entirely pointless.
