Not a chance. If this kid enters the draft, he is going top 15 for sure IMO. But he might be better off staying back for another year, tear it up and he could be a top 5 pick next year.
Raps get 2nd + cash considerations for Barbosa. Waived Anthony Carter.
lol not a chance
NBAdraft.net doesnt even have him in the mock draft lol.

The kid is very good, he was a top 20 pick on nbadraft.net during the first couple months of the season, it just looks more and more like he'll stick around for his sophomore year and play another year with that young longhorns team... who could probably do some damage this time around next year.
If you look at 2013.. NBAdraft.net has him going 17... and he's only going up from there.
Meh, pretty much. the NHL deadline is far and away the busiest, so it kind of skews our expectations of deadlines in other sports. Generally, the activity levels in various leagues goes (in order of activity)
NHL > NBA > MLB > NFL
I think this NBA TD was far more exciting than the NHL TD.
Fisher, Wallace, Bogut, Nene, Sjax, Jefferson, McGee all moving. The Lakers should be interesting to watch with an NBA-calibre starting PG.

This year's NHL deadline sucked, but by and large there are more deals and bigger deals every year at the NHL deadline compared to the NBA one. Then the MLB one often sees a couple of interesting deals (albeit not ones with huge impact players) and then the NFL one is scrubs and picks and not much else.

I find MLB deadlines always involve the same teams that are going to win (PHI, NY, BOS, STL) stuff like that. NBA and NHL have more teams doing more I find which makes way more exciting days.
Maybe not in an ideal world, but I'm pretty sure Anthony Davis can play the 3 as well.
I'm sure we'd find a way to make it work.
The more I think of it, the more I want Andrea at the 3 with that front court. Davis brings way more defensive, and rebounding, same with Val. Bargs has the shot too and the outside game. That'd be pretty deadly.
Watching the Gonzaga game, and I think Sacre would be a nice target for us. Good defender/rebounder and very energetic. He has shown some skill as well. Could be a nice back-up center to Val.
We would probably have to move up with our 2nd rounder, but it should be possible.

There are far fewer 4s capable of playing the 3 than fans tend to think. Bargs is absolutely not quick enough to keep up with most SFs, which would both get him destroyed defensively and would stunt his offence.
Or just start Davis at the 3, Bargs at 4 and Val at 5. Huge line-up but with an athletic front court of Derozan and Bayless it wouldn't be too bad.
davis needs to be able to hit that 7-15 ft jumper consistently before it can even be considered, his speed might also be an issue.
i'd prefer JJ @ the 3 over davis.
uh, would anyone be interesting in taking a chance at oden? maybe catch lightning in a bottle
a cracked bottle made out of that breakaway glass they use for movies?
He's played the equivalent of 1 season out of the 3-4 years he's been in the league. And he's had (to my recollection) at least two significant surgeries on each of his knees.

Uh, I suppose on the offensive sets you could have Bargnani "playing the three", but there's no way he would be able to guard a small-forward.
Davis could play the three, but he'd be a far better player playing the four.

It ain't happening.
Agreed. I don't think Oden plays ever again. Poor Portland, they passed on Durant for him. It's like Sam Bowie all over again
