Yup. But you don't need greatness in every position, defense helps. And we got some good role players. We just need more experience and a "A" class draftee.

Val/Bargs and Davis is a nice frontcourt to develop.
JJ makes a great defensive three.
Bayless and Forbes are solid bench guys. DD's been inconsistent, but still has a future.
Calderon's play has been admirable.

Still several players away from being set.

Still looking at needing a better all-round PG, better all-round SF and maybe a veteran big to plug in for a few years who can help the two young guys ease in. Hopefully the three comes from the draft...leaving the two (hard-to-fill) spots.

You think Barnes or Beal would be a huge step forward for RAptors?

i don't think beal would be that big of a step, but barnes would be a huge step I'm a tar heel fan so don't mind my biasness, but if barnes hits his potential he'll be the best player from the draft, and fits in a position were we've been weak for a LONG time.

ps a lot of mocks got us taking drummond now thoughts?

I'm almost at the point where I'd prefer Beal to Barnes.

Also, if everyone in this draft-class hits there potential Barnes may be top-5, but there's no way he'd be the best of the bunch.

Davis is far more likely to reach his potential, and his potential is extremely high as well.

I would much rather the Raptors pick Davis than Drummond as of now.

Of course, the chance they have the option to select Davis is extremely low.

I don't get this team. DeMar looks like the only actually scoring and in the 4th quarter, they are not even going to him!

Because DeMar doesn't demand the ball.

nooooooooooooooooo.

He's soft, out of shape, and doesn't give a crap. And we have enough guys at the 3/4 that we don't need another.

Boris Diaw makes Oliver Miller look like a fitness model. Fatass to the nth degree. Do. Not. Want. Glad we didn't get him in that Calderon/Chandler nixed trade.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is apparently going to declare for the draft, even though he said earlier this year that he was staying in school next year.
