54-27 Raptors.

This is so dumb. One win will change the course of our team for the next 5 years.

I guess it's a good thing casey is such a good coach, just wish we could of had one more loss to vault us to the 3 spot

It's doubtful that we would've moved up to 3rd anyway. Chances are Cleveland is going to get smoked by Chicago.

Raptors now up by 32 with 6:30 in the 3rd.

Cleveland leading Chicago by 1, New Orleans up on Houston by 4. Both in late stages of the 1st quarter.

32 point lead holds in the waning minutes of the 3rd.

New Orleans is now up by 15 on Houston. Cleveland has fallen behind Chicago by 6. Both are about 9 minutes away from halftime.

lol, so much fail with the Raptors.

But the lottery is weird that they could still win it or get in the top 3.

The Raptors' all-but-assured win makes all these other games moot except for SA/GS, but the Hornets look pretty much in control of Houston, while Cleveland continues to trail the Bulls by single digits.

OMG ROFL Ben Uzoh the first Raptor in 11 years to get a triple double. A D-Leaguer on the last game of the season vs. the Nets in their last game as the New Jersey nets.

Lol this is like something out of a movie. Oh and almost a 40 point blowout. Priceless.

Raptors win 98-67.

Cleveland is now in a deep hole vs the Bulls, down by almost 20. New Orleans is also barely hanging on vs Houston, both are midway through the 3rd quarter.

So Toronto is now locked in 7th awaiting the results of Spurs/Warriors, but even if they won it's looking less likely that they could've moved up any.

As long as we're in the top 7, I'm not too upset. No question that Davis is #1 and you take him if you somehow win the lottery, but we really don't have a big need at PF. Top 2 will be Davis and Robinson. My hope is to grab Kidd-Gilchrist at #3, but even in the 7 range we are likely to get one of Lamb, Beal, or Barnes.

Its sort of like the Leafs position in their draft this year. Sure Yakupov is elite, but you don't really have as much of a need for RW as you do for C. Sitting at 5 and taking whoever drops form the elite 5 isn't so bad.

In this year's NBA draft, the dropoff is after 7 IMO.

So chill everybody.

I doubt it.

There's also a pretty big difference between getting a Barnes or Lamb, and a Beal or Kidd-Gilchrist. I wouldn't hate Barnes, as I see him being better in the NBA then he was in college, but I doubt he's available at seven.

Honestly, if the Raptors stay where they are as of now, I would trade the ******* pick. That, or trade down, pick up some assets, and pick Kendall Marshall.

All I can do at this point, is for some luck in the lottery.

New Orleans losing now to Houston with less than a minute. Cavs got crushed by Chicago. That would've ended the chances of the 3rd and 4th place ties for the Raptors had they not won.

10 minutes from SA/GS to determine whether Toronto sits alone at 7 or ties with the Warriors.

Difference between sole 7th and tie is about half a percent (about 3.5% vs 4%) chance of winning the lottery.

EDIT: Hornets lost. Kings vs Lakers still to come to determine if the Raptors could have gotten to 5th.

Wow I hope G-State loses just so you guys have another 20 posts to speculate about the tie-breaker lottery tomorrow.

Face it, the drop-off after the top-3 this year is significant and every pick after that is a crap shoot.

i guess it isn't all bad, out side of the top 2 there is no clear consensus as to who should be taken 3rd, 4th, etc. i'd be happy with a bradley beal or a harrison barnes. if we do stick @ 8th should we not take a chance on kendall marshall? sure he can't shoot but that can be developed in the NBA and he is said to be one of the best passers to come out of the draft in a long time, if not we can only hope he becomes rondo 2.0

he lacks the length and athleticism for that.

GS/SA tied with 6ish minutes left.
