Puck Daddy on situation.
ECHL has indicated that goal should not have counted.

Stupidity, Blindness, or a combo of both.
I haven't been to an ECHL game in years. Do they use instant replay's?

Refs make mistakes. Small mistakes. Big mistakes. And, sometimes, horrible mistakes, like this one.
But then again, so do players, goalies, officials, team owners and league owners.
It's all part of the game.
Unless you're a fan of the disadvantaged team, of course. In which the ref should be drawn and quartered at dawn.

His uncle is Dan Marouelli, that's probably how.

The funny part is South Carolina still won and overcame a 3-0 defecit after that goal.

The way the Stingrays reacted after the goal was allowed before the faceoff showed that they were upset. That was probably the spark that they needed to rally.

Agreed. Except that I'd prefer the event to happen right after the 3 star selection.

I've seen this ref cost Toledo a game by disallowing a goal that clearly crossed the line. And now this.
