These are facts. Thomas is not his usual self. I love him and he is one of my favorite Bruins but him and Krejci are just in a slump that I think won't end until March.

I appreciate the 2 points, and Darth being his crazy self during the fight.

That said, we need a D man badly. Good LAWD.

Congrats guys. Great save by thomas on max, For the bruins its nice they didn't let game slip away. This might be a booster despite the fact they could play better.

As for me, not even mad. Driving full force towards the tank.

Actually happy we gave Montreal the point. Get them far away from a high pick but not in the playoffs

is there an ignore function on these boards and can someone please direct me to it?
this a billion times over.

I cannot for the life of me remember the last time someone didn't say "gotta save that" or "soft goal" after we are scored on. Whether it's Thomas or Rask.. it gets old quick.

Bruins were WAY better vs. the Rangers, yet the results are the opposite. The hockey gods are strange.

That was a pretty good game by the habs. I was impressed by the physical game and the desire to initiate. I didnt see much for diving or controversy..

It was a solid in your face home game.

No shame in losing that IMO..

Rask too...

Which tells me it's our defense/team defense that is in a slump.. especially with the constant turnovers.

Our goalies are hardly the issue lately. They are just an easy scapegoat.

I like them, didn't at first, but have warmed to them. Just not when the B's are in them.

Tim Thomas is 5-0 with a .941 save percentage in shootouts this year.

In a way it kind of makes sense. Winning the division guarantees at least 3rd seed (probably 2nd) and Ottawa is still 6 points behind or so and we have something ridiculous like 4 or 5 games in hand on them.

That was Thomas' worst positional game I have seen from him in 2 years...He was all over the place flopping and fighting the puck on every shot...His confidence seems to have been frayed. He's a pro and a battler and STILL got the win, but this is not vintage Tim Thomas by any means.

As a goalie I can admit I will always take the goalie's side. I can admit when a goal is "weak" but I can't stand to watch dmen stand around, turn the puck over infront of their own net, score on their own net, and forwards not backcheck on the powerplay and then read/hear "soft", "weak", "sit him"
