Oh well, at least Maggie played well nearly all night, that's a start.

IMO, it looked like Whits called for it quick, to try and get it then pass back to one of the wings, but Mags kinda delayed and then dropped a muffin pass backwards, so Whits figured he only had time to let one go and he clearly had no idea how litte time he had.

Neither of them played it very well, but passing it back on a 3-on-1 is rarely ever a good idea, simply not effective and when it fails it leads to oddman rushes the other way every single time.

Please, Oiler fans, do the rest of us a favour and refuse to give/sell your tickets to Leafs fans next time.

I've NEVER that I can remember complained about reffing, but tonight was the most brutal amateurish lopsided pathetic display by the zebras I have EVER seen. Dan O'Halloran and Stephen Walkom, you should be ASHAMED!

I wouldn't go so far as to say it was "all Paajarvi" but Whitney was also at fault. Nevertheless, it's pointless arguing now.

Hard to blame the defending D man or goalie on a 3 on 1...he could have done more but hard to defend against it.

It was a bad play no doubt about it, but when was the last time that "he burned us"? IMO he had to either shoot that one or pass it to Hemsky, had Whitney sensed Phaneuf he could've blocked him out a bit and passed back down to either forward for an easy chance. It was a brutal play by a couple of players but Magnus shouldn't have allowed Whitney to have been anything more than a decoy.

I just don't get the drop pass. It looks pretty, but if Whitney hits that one timer and he misses the net or Reimer saves it, the Leafs have numbers going back anyway.

Paajarvi's gotta watch some game film on this one. The bad change on the second goal was on him for not getting the puck deep. He's getting better, but he has to be smarter.

Good game if you excuse the **** reffing. Barker sits next game and the world keeps turning.

The Leaf FANS made me angrier than the outcome of the game.

We're 12 points from matching our totals from 09/10 and 10/11. Come on, boys, you're good for at least 20 more points.

The only thing that keeps me happy after this game is listening to my buddy who's been a Leafs fan for 30 years and keeps bringing up that one time when Gretzky beat them in the semi finals 20 years ago as the glory days.

Passing back on a three on one in OVERTIME is never a good idea, unless there is no back pressure. Paajarvi either needs to pass it faster to Whitney, pass it to Hemsky or take the puck to the net with confidence.

He's playing better but he seems like a dumb player at times. Also had a horrendous line change on the second goal for the Leafs.

I don't understand why you guys are so angry with the leaf fans at the game? It's well documented that the leafs have quite a few fans out west and they don't come around too often so obviously they're going to buy tickets to the game and cheer their team on.

Rough play with mps and whitney but mps is still a kid and he'll learn from this. This is the way this season should be, putting kids in prime roles and living with their mistakes.

Im just happy it was mps and hemsky out there and not belanger.

Mistake by mps in ot, i can live with. Burying him on the 3rd line with belanger, i cant.

Gotta give Hemsky credit, he looked to have upped his trade value tonight. My biggest gripe is where has that player been all year long? Sulking IMO.

I think he's excited about the prospect of joining his new team.

Another back pass. I'd get mad at Paajarvi except the whole team has been doing those stupid feather passes all year. He's not the only one.

The whole team other than Eberle's individual effort was garbage after they scored the 3-2 goal. No composure, we were complete junk the last two power plays, everybody just got way too wound up. Thank god the Leafs didn't score shorthanded at the end of the third.

At least we got it to overtime. One day when this team has balls we'll win these games. And one day when we actually have decent defence and goaltending we'll win more. Cam Barker was ok for the first three games back from his injury but has been unimaginable atrocious since.

I'm just mad. We should have won both of these games against the Laffs. Are we going to have to score 4+ every night forever?
