The loss really isn't on just two players... the entire team failed to show up in the first period. Del Zotto and McD were making mistakes as well and the forwards were playing poorly as well.

I think we can just have to forget this one as a stinker. They lost the game in the first period. Important is that they were able to catch themselves and actually get the better chances for the rest of the game.

With a little more luck the rangers may have actually came back here. The PP being 0-7 is a huge issue. Just forget about the game and be happy that they were able to stabilize this thing. Move on to the next one and get 2 pts vs. CBJ.
