Awesome!

Can't buy Show as champ anymore, I'm glad they took the title off him. See where ADR goes with this.

Has there been any inkling at all that Ricardo will start seeing some action? I seem to recall he was actually pretty skilled in the ring at one point.

I've been saying that ADR as a face is something that I'm digging quite a bit. I'm at least more encouraged by his apparent face turn rather than The Miz's face turn, most notably because it appears as if ADR has had some changes to his persona, and it's caused some fans to actually give him a reaction.

Really scratching my head on why the also announced on WWE.com that Del Rio wins the title, since the attraction of The Rock would of been enough for the ratings. Oh well.

Really happy for ADR. If the WWE knew that Edge was going to be forced into retirement after WM27, I think they would have put the WHC on him then. But I also think this is how Ziggler gets the title around his waist, cashing in on ADR, who isn't as valuable by WWE standards as Orton/Sheamus.

When was the last time the WWE/WHC titles changed hands on a RAW or SD?

This.

And I'm now interested to watch SD this week not only for The Rock-Sandow but for the ADR winning.

I was an ADR fan when he first came then he became boring and irrelevant to me ever since he lost to Edge him at WM. Interested to see if he becomes interesting again.

Did not expect all that from a taping. Wow. WWE isn't ****ing around right now.

This looks like a re-boot show for Smackdown and with good reason. This is the final year of their contract with SyFy and are looking for it to be renewed, so expect a better show.

When was the last time a belt like the WWE or WHC changed hands in a taping? Christian/Orton? It creates one heck of a buzz. I feel like the WWE putting 3-4 good shows together could really boost ratings.

I love this time of the year.

Seems weird that the only title changes they do on TV now is on the taped show.

Guess you can't have Cena overshadowed on RAW with a World Title change.

I love this decision. Keeps fans on their toes.

This might also generate some buzz and interest in Del Rio's face turn, which I thought was awesome but it didn't seem like "the universe" felt the same way as me Even though it seems like ADR is going to be a transitional champ I still like the idea behind it.

I really wish they would just get rid of the WHC. The elimiantion of the brand split and smaller roster defeats the purpose of having two main event titles

Yep...because if ADR had won on Raw, then all the wrestling community/little kids would be talking about that rather than another Cena "super-human, against all odds" victory.

Just to be clear and not sarcastic, I agree with you, Raw can do with a major title change every now and then, it keeps fans' interest up and re-iterates that ANYTHING can happen at any time.

The WHC is one of my favorite belts and has an amazing history to it. I'd like to see this:

WWE Belt/WHC - main eventers.
White IC Belt - Established mid card

Tag Belts

Cruiser Weight

Would love for them to get back to a cruiserweight division, since the WCW cruiserweight scene is what first got me into pro wrestling.

Not sure who is on the roster now that fits the mold though.

The Rock described his reaction on Smackdown as "one of the loudest ovations I've ever received"

I can't remember the last time I was looking forward to Smackdown.
