- Handsome Furs
- The Weeknd

My wife will want to see Blue Rodeo, Seal, and Norah Jones, so I guess I'll be going to those shows as well.

And no surprise that Metric is coming back for like the 6th or 7th straight year. I am surprised that Michael Franti and Xavier Rudd aren't performing. I hope one of them will be in Montreal on July 9 because there's no way I'm going to see Nickelback.
Oooooh Grimes and Pack A.D! I hear Pack A.D. are really great on stage.

I'm so sick of Metric...

Gotta be high to enjoy it? Not even just high, straight ****ed on chemicals? Uhhh... yeah, alright

Definitely going to see I Mother Earth. Doesn't look like there's a whole lot else I'd enjoy this year.

Saw DFA (been obsessed since high school) and Jane's Addiction last year. Good times.

No. You buy a one-day festival pass, and you can go to all of the stages. You don't pay for separate / individuals acts.

I've heard the same thing about The Pack A.D. I'm really looking forward to seeing them.

I agree with you on Metric. I think I might just go to Pub Italia that night.

What a terrible line up. I go every year to bluesfest for a least a couple of nights but I'm not going this year. Absolute garbage. Very disappointing.

Best thing about Deltron is that this means there aren't going to be any more delays on the release of Event II.

In other news, Ottawa's Escapade Music Festival have added Marcus Schossow, Ben Gold and Aly & Fila to their lineup. More to come this week.

Is there no pre-sale this year? I'm registered as a Bluesfest Insider but didn't get any e-mail. Does anyone have a pre-sale password?

Yeah Del should be the highlight of my bluesfest.

Other than a few bands here and there though (Mastodon, Chromeo, etc...) I'm not super jazzed about the lineup.

Wow 375$ is pretty steep price. Don't remember being that high the years before.

Thanks. I just, just got my e-mail too.

I'm not going to buy the full passport this year. First time in a long time. The lineup just doesn't have any must-sees for me.

Might go to a couple of nights though.

Even the pre-sale pass comes close to 270$ with ticket fees and all.

We'll still buy a full festival passport, as there will be additional acts announced later. Plus, we like to visit the different stages because we often find a new artist that impresses us.

Same here. Altough I'll only be going for a day. Waiting for the schedule to be announced.

I will still get a pass from Bluesfest. Disapointing to say the least, compared to last year but I still want to see: Fishbone, Billy Bragg, Plants and Animals, City and Colour, Arkells, Walk Off The Earth, Chromeo, Deep Dark Woods, James Vincent McMorrow, I Mother Earth, Iron Maiden, Snoop, Lauryn Hill, Rich Aucoin, Big Wreck, Love Machine, Hold Steady, Sheepdogs, Our Lady Peace, Blue Rodeo, Rudeboy, Dirty Heads, Young The Giant, Hey Rosetta!, Metric, Monkeyjunk.

I will stay far away from the EDM anything. I can just imagine the great music fans that will appreciate LMFAO...urgh.

It get's worse. Now when you buy the pass, it's actually a bracelet. You can't even sell off the days you can't or don't want to go to. So now you get higher prices, less flexibility and a bunch of techno acts this year.

Now I don't think I'll be buying the pass at all. I will most likely opt for Osheaga and maybe Wolf Island Festival instead.
