Maybe take out the 3rd and put a not so hopeful prospect in there.

I agree. We have plenty of Chiefs and not enough Indians (or maybe the other way around...). We need a finisher. Nash would address that (not advocating that) Carter would as well.

Who's to say the Anaheim scouts are not there to look at Chicago? There have been some whispers of Kane potentially being available, although I highly doubt it. But a Ryan + ? for Kane deal certainly could benefit both teams. Just a crazy thought

There have been no such rumors. Just fan speculation.

Dom Moore and a 7th to SJ for a 2nd. Ugh, not liking this market so far.

Moore for a 2nd is pretty normal, he's been dealt for that before........Grossman for a 2nd was bad enough but a 3rd too?

say bye bye to a pick or two plus Zuccarello. Book it

Glad he's out of our conference. He's been a Ranger killer for years.

that's the THIRD time he's been traded for a 2nd. fourth if you count when we first acquired him from Detroit (swapping 2nds so Detroit could move up).

Aaron Portzline is reporting that Nash, Carter, and Tyutin are all not at practice this morning...
Aaron Portzline covers the CBJ for the Columbus Dispatch.
Could Sather have been talking to Howson this whole time about the return of Tyutin instead of Nash??? speculation...

No way, there's no logic in Tyutin. $4.5 million for six more years? Doesn't make any sense.

Well I'm glad San Jose traded for Moore because it takes them out of the running for Gaustad, Moen, Pahlson, etc.

They gave up a lot to get Moore, they remind me of the the Rangers circa 95-97, they're giving up a lot of picks to win now and it might hurt them in 2-3 years down the road.

The NHL will want those two playoff home games worth of revenue for the Coyotes. And will want to look enticing for a potential buyer. They're in the playoff race. They won't be selling.
