It's not hate, but if you're the defending Cup champs and banking on a guy like Miro Satan to save your season, you're essentially ****ed.

This team needs Ray Whitney, especially with Pevs possibly missing major time . What gets it done?

Looked like a XCL injury.

Where X = insert one or more of the following A, M, or P.

Not good.

Yotes are currently sitting in the eight playoff spot. I don't think they will be selling at the moment.

Exactly. Why do the yotes do this when they're clearly in the playoff picture. It would have to be a severe over payment IMO. Don't get me wrong it would be nice.

Sad day, I love Peverley, too bad about his knee.

Does this cause Claude to mix up the Little Ball of Hate-Bergy-Seguin line?

With Horton and Peverley out for a significant amount of time one would have to think Chia will be busy at the trade deadline.

Dr. Recchi paging Dr. Recchi can you play 30 regular season games and the playoffs?

Agreed don't see the Yotes moving Whitney. They need to make the playoffs and hope for that extra revenue at this point

I don't envy Chia right now. Seems like he has to add someone significant to the roster without subtracting from the current roster. Good luck buddy.

And he is now negotiating from a very weakend position. I think we are going to be seeing considerable overpayment for anyone of worth or no significant trades made.

Yes, Peverley is a major loss. I'm not happy!

I'm guessing either Pu or Caron to Krejci's right side, Hennessy on the 3rd line with Kelly.

Marchand - Bergeron - Seguin
Lucic - Krejci - Caron
Pouliot - Kelly - Hennessy

is my guess. I'd rather have Pouliot with Krejci but I can't see Caron and Hennessy being on the same line.

But who knows, since Hennessy is Provi's leading scorer, they may just stick him with Krejci and Lucic.. Sure as hell can't hurt, right?

Agreed. The mechanism of the (alleged/supposed/suspected/etc) injury could fall in line with an PCL or ACL injury. The fact he could skate off under his own volition & strength doesn't necessarily suggest anything, as some people tear ACLs without even knowing they did anything more than 'tweak' their knee.

I'm not speculating -- but I think if he's out for an extended period of time, I would guess PC would make an even bigger move than previously rumored. Maybe we'll see Hennessey in tomorrow... though I'd rather not.

How long should it take to diagnose something like that?

Bascially the longer it goes without an annoucement, the only annoucement is that they aren't sure yet, the worse it is.

The sooner then know means less swelling, less swelling means it's less likely to be a tore.

They can't do anything til the swelling goes down
