Take out the third and I'd consider it.

Also no'd from Habs.

Neither of the Edmonton players would crack our lineup IMO.

Don't see any point in this for the Habs.

O'Marra and Engqvist/Palushaj seem equivalently borderline as NHLers, but at least Engqvist/Palushaj seem to have turned a corner in terms of AHL productivity.

I like Peckham as a depth tough D, but realistically Weber has a lot more upside and talent. I understand the concept here is to trade off something we think we have in ample supply already (semi-skill PMD) vs. something we lack in general (size/toughness), but I think we can get the very depth-y types of size/toughness just as readily on the FA market without giving up assets. It's the size/toughness higher up in the lineup that is trickier to obtain.

And throwing in a 3rd on top, definitely no thanks.

A friend of mine is a fan of O'Marra's simply because he fell down four times during one shift. Edmonton can keep him.

Also, neither Peckham and O'Marra are signed past this year, while Weber is signed through next year and Palushaj will probably be resigned.

I'm not sure how this trade benefits Montreal Mr. Hotel, or why Montreal would have to add a draft pick. For that reason alone Montreal declines.

This look like the prototypical Habs Hotel mediocre proposal where each fan bases gets turned off.

The great package of "Palushaj, Weber and a mid-pick": it's been a while since I last saw it!

O'Marra is a complete and utter waste of a first round pick. He's not even worth a 7th round. And Peckham is at best a 6th-7th defensemen. So that trade request is pointless and makes no sense. Palushaj or Weber alone are worth more than what you offer. Actually, the third round pick is also worth more than both these guys.
