There were couple of guys hunting him down, when Sami's team was winning the quarterfinal-series. They got what they wanted (first a high stick in the face - ok, more of an accident, but still, and then this). Not cool.
And btw, the head coach for Finnish national team told in the news that Vatanen was pretty much already given a spot in the team with a big role in mind. And in the last year's world champion team too, had he not injured.
