The player poll from the NHLPA and CBC in 2011 had 66% supporting the instigator.

Leave it to Brad Richardson to kill the momentum inside the offensive zone with his weak board play.

The days of McSorely destroying anyone that touched Gretzky are long gone.
Say what you want, and maybe you're right, but when guys like Westgarth and Biznasty are out of the league, we'll see a LOT more injuries to star players. Be careful what you wish for. It's not the stars that are worried about these guys, it's guys like Ott, Torres, Lapierre and Marchand that are worried. They are the ones that will have free reign on the stars, just like Marchand in the finals did to Sedin.

They're out there giving an effort. I'll give them that. The lack of skill is pretty obvious though. I think Dean will see this type of game and calculate the amount of goals missed because they are all fight and no finish. I'm willing to be a trade is made by the next game and frankly, I don't care what prospects and picks we give up. I just want to jump out of my seat for goals.

Just like they have free reign now? The heavies never fight the pests

Westgarth played on December 1st when Richards was concussed. Westgarth's presence did nothing to stop it and he did nothing after it happened. Hanzel took a run at Richards in this game, did Hanzel think twice about it? Nope. Has Westgarth done anything about it? Nope

Exactly. That's because the pests rarely do anything to the stars because they know they have to deal with a heavy. Except for Marchand, because Vancouver didn't have one.
