sorry the sarcasm was intended to complain about the cost of my seats ...
Ha! Well, I can't argue with you on that one. Used to go to 5 games a year not that long ago. Last year I could only afford one regular season game and one playoff game. Not much can be done though, the demand is so high.

I hope the Sedins can turn it around tonight with a few points each. The canucks have been doing very well lately without them producing, but the Sedins need to play like the canucks best players.

Good luck tomorrow guys. It's usually a close game, so I hope it's like that again tomorrow. It's really exciting to watch. Hopefully we can get the W this time though.
Higgins workman like effort will push Hansen. He'd better bring his work boots if he is going to be on a line with Higgins, or he'll end up looking invisible.

Canuck goalie plans for weekend: Luongo vs Leafs on Saturday; Schneider vs Oiler on Sunday. #networth #canucks
Strangely, as interested in the game as I am...I'm nearly as interested in what angle Mclean and Cherry will take to bash us. Anyone else feel the same way, or is it just me?
Why are people mad the Canucks are going to be playing during prime time on the east coast for the big showcase game on CBC? Reality of timezones. The Canucks probably have no issue with it at all, and I wouldn't be surprised if they requested it or at least agreed to it.
You guys sound so insecure whenever this comes up. It's like the ghost of Dave Pratt.
Vancouver Sun article on the pending arrival of Leafs Nation for the game Saturday.
Number of Ontario born players on the Leafs roster? Zero.
Number of Ontario born players on the Canucks roster? Three - Malhotra (Mississauga) Hodgson (Toronto) and Bieksa (Hamilton). Plus GMMG is from Kingston, Ontario unlike the Yankee buffoon in Toronto.
CoHo was almost born a Leaf... literally.
Hodgson revealed this week that he was almost born in Maple Leaf Gardens, that his mother, very pregnant with him, was at a Leafs-New Jersey game on the night of Feb. 17, 1990, when she went into labour.
“She went to the hospital from the game and I was born the next morning,” said Hodgson. “That's basically the story I got. They still have the tickets from the game and stuff.”
And like CoHo's family, Bieksa's family has eschewed the Dark Side and embraced the Wet Coast Force and all that is good and right.
Like Hodgson, Bieksa claims his family has left Leafs Nation behind. He insists they are all in the “Go, Canucks, Go” camp. Or at least most of them.
“I think there might be a couple of people left in the family who are Leaf fans when we're not playing them,” he said. “But there is no grey area there. When we play the Leafs, it's Canucks all the way.”

Meh, odds are I won't even watch them. I don't usually bother with CBC's pre-game, intermission or post-game shows now.
Rick Nash should wear the number of a retired great. #99 is retired by the league, but #77 or #66 are available. What other retired greats could he snipe a number from.. maybe #87?
Bieksa given a maintenance day. Tanev will be with the team to start the road trip. Ballard told Coach V he has "upper body symptoms" and will not be on this trip.
Luongo gets the start vs. Toronto.
Maintenance day for Bieksa, he'll be good to for the weekend.
