2 degrees of Dominic Moore
With Moore getting traded yet again...I decided to look at this and see if we can apply the
Mike Sillinger principle to the venerable Dominic Moore.
And turns out...yes. Yes we can. Every team has a player on its roster who has played with Dominic Moore.
Buffalo -- Pominville
Boston -- Pouliot
Toronto -- Grabovski
Montreal -- Kaberle
Ottawa -- Gonchar
NYI -- Eaton
NYR -- Lundqvist
NJD -- Foster
Philadelphia -- Jagr
Pittsburgh -- Malkin
Florida -- Weiss
Tampa Bay -- Lecavalier
Washington -- Hamrlik
Carolina -- Spacek
Winnipeg -- Antropov
Detroit -- White
Columbus -- Tyutin
Nashville -- Kostitsyn
St Louis -- Steen
Chicago -- Mayers
Vancouver -- Booth
Calgary -- Stajan
Edmonton -- Whitney
Minnesota -- Backstrom
Colorado -- O'Byrne
LA -- Scuderi
Anaheim -- Blake
Dallas -- Dvorak
Phoenix -- Rozsival
San Jose -- Burns
Thus, I conclude
every active player in the NHL is within 2 degrees of Dominic Moore.

Funny that you picked Kaberle, out of every Habs player that actually played with him in Montreal.

LOL I was compiling my list going in order of teams Moore played on. He played with Kaberle before playing on Montreal

Most complete player in the NHL, he has the hookups, obviously.

I don't know who NKD is, but Brian Rolston plays for the New York Islanders.

Forgot about the trade...
OK, change him to Kurtis Foster (or Ponikarovsky, or Tallinder...). Still works.

I'll always remember that goal
VIDEO
I was so scared the Habs would **** the bed with a 1-0 lead that goal made me breath a little bit better, good thing he scored...the Habs won the game 2-1 to win the series 4-3

Traded again, eh.
So.... what can we conclude from this?
Everybody wants him, or nobody wants to keep him?

The best part of the Sillinger thread is that through Mark Howe and Gordie Howe, Sillinger was within six degrees of everyone who had ever played in the NHL. Including a few players who only played one season on a team called the Quebec Bulldogs from 1919.
Sillinger's six degrees of everyone in hockey will likely carry through for a few more decades. That's amazing. I wonder if he's ever met Gordie Howe.

So he has played for Rangers, Penguins, Wild, Leafs, Sabres, Panthers, Canadiens, Lightning, and now the Sharks. They have all been post lockout as well.

Always being forced to move like that has got to be some form of mental cruelty. His parents are gonna sue somebody.

He should take a pay cut but get a full NTC on his next contract so he can finally stay in one place.

How come he didn't play for San Jose tonight? Was the trade after they had already submitted the rosters?

This needs to be revisited once Moore signs on with a new team.
