Football is already light years ahead in popularity and the Knicks, though more popular than the Rangers anyway (though much more so when successful), weren't having a year worth noting.
The Knicks, on this run with Lin, just reached the .500 mark. They were 8-15 just a couple of weeks ago...now they are 15-15 and the Rangers, 23 games over .500 are completely irrelevant in NYC media.

Well, I like Doc, but he has a set of about 10 verbal crutches that he leans on just about any play.
