Schenn scratched tonight

Let the speculation begin. He was not as bad as Komi last night.

More than likely won't be anything.

We'll see I guess.

Honestly, it could just be purely due to his play, but with Burke you just never know.

I don't care if we keep him and I don't care if we trade him. If we trade him, I'm confident it will be for a good return. A guy like Schenn has too much hype to garner a poor return.

I don't get why he sits out the guys with grit. Armstrong the last couple of games and now Luke, who was not playing any worse than Franson or Komi last night. This team has to start playing tougher, grinding hockey if they want to succeed. The problem is that Wilson loves turn-the-other-cheek hockey. It drives me nuts

Bob McKenzie would of answered back by now, he has taken awhile to find if Schenn is officially scratched. Something may be up

If they want to sit someone, Phaneuf should also take a seat. Probably makes more of a statement than Schenn.

So a defensemen that can't handle speed isn't used against one of the faster forward groups? Colour me pink!

If it was based on last night's performance then Dion should on a plane back to Toronto to meet up with the rest of the Marlies.

How much would you give up for Schenn right now? Trading him at his lowest value doesn't make a great deal of sense unless you're sure he isn't going to improve.

Yes, because NHL GM's base returns on "hype"

He would garner a good return because he's a top prospect that a lot of teams would like to have - nothing more, nothing less.

I think Schenn would be one of the guys that would benefit from a coaching change. I think alot of what Ron Wilson asks the defensemen to do clashes with Schenns conservative playing style.

He's not a prospect, he's a four year NHL veteran making rookie mistakes.

Healthy Scratching must be a value killer...

Not Schenn's fault that Dion was terrible yesterday.
