I'm wrong to who? Do you know how good Gardiner will become? I'm wrong to you, and you're wrong to me. Move on.

Like I said in my previous post, Nash won't even be moved at the deadline, so I could care less about coming back to you.
and like I've said many times, JG won't be moved at all.

pretty easy way out for you.

Never said JVR wasn't overrated, but I'd say Schenn for JVR is fair value and JVR is a 22 year old with size and skill, like Biitz said, we trade for potential and it's easy to see JVR has more potential then Schenn.

Schenn has is already in his fourth year in the NHL and has shown some major inconsistency's, JVR is in his 3rd season and is imo a top 6 player for the Leafs with potential to become a first liner vs Schenn who is a 5-6 Dman right now and has potential to be a 3-4 guy, the former being much harder to come by but the latter still holds value because he is a D and takes longer to develop, so there is a VERY small chance the Flyers see Schenn turn into a #2 guy. Whereas JVR is already a top 6 guy.

So JG will never be moved it what your saying?

Easy way out? I just said Nash won't be moved. Nash is actually talking about being moved. Gardiner is just some prospect.

And how do you know Nash won't become Komisarek at forward when he comes to the Leafs?

At this point all we have to base this deal off of is potential and present day results and what Gardiner has the potential to become is too good to give up, even for a guy like Nash.

He's the type of player that can run your powerplay and transition game for the next 15 years if things go right.

You all ***** about having a guy who will stand up for Kessel. Who would you rather have on our top line, Lupul or Lucic? For me it's Lucic because he does the things Kessel doesn't, and that's what linemates do.

Why is Burrows good? He does what the Sedins dont.

You said ++ I have no idea what ++ is. I can only imagine that it means you add.
depends who the rest of the linemates are. Doesn't make sense to have 3 lucics on a line, in the sense it doesn't really make sense to split up Lupul or Kessel because they're performing like elite first liners. All I said is that they're are players like Lucic, Burrows etc that player top line roles that you wouldn't say are top line players but get the job done. I know Lupul has more skill than Lucic but players like Lucic are rare.

It depends who the linemate is, but the linemate is Kessel. 1 Lucic and 1 Kessel seems like a recipe for 1 good line.

If a player like Lucic is rare than you have to give up a player like Gardiner, which is exactly what I've been saying this whole thread.

Who says you have to give up a player like Gardiner? Did the Sharks give up anyone of that value to get Thornton?

Not much of a chance I would move him if I were Burke...after Phaneuf, Gardiner is the defenseman I would want to keep the most...has the tools to be something special.

Trading Gardiner would be about as bright a move as the Leafs made rehiring Punch Imlach

Gardiner is the only player on this team that has decent celli's. We need him.

Well no worries since I'd like him to stay too. I mean has already shown what he's going to be capable of. This with having to go from College to the NHL. He'll get even better when he is used to playing so many games.

Speed, skill, wants to be here, sounds good to me .

It would be dumb to trade him, unless of course it is for an elite or lucic type player.

I like the fact that I can say he can realistically become a top pairing defender without homer glasses on - if you consider Campbell calibre a top-pairing D, and I do.

He does however need:
Strength
Some positional practise
Confidence
Experience

Those, however, are VERY acquirable. The rest (skating, IQ, stickhandling, passing, shot, active stick), he already has.

It's the SUN, people. Just seems like a cheesy article. I like Gardiner and there is no way in hell BB would trade him.

Btw, The Bruins? Why would they need Rick Nash? Who would they give up?

If from Toronto, Howson insists on Gardiner in a deal for Nash, then he better be insisting on Seguin from the Bruins.
