Looking for Total One Int. Shaft or Substitute

A couple of weeks ago I broke my One95 Int. shaft, and finding a replacement has been much, much harder than I expected. I tried buying a TotalOne Int. shaft from three different retailers (Hockey Giant, Hockey on the Brain, and Ice Hockey World), and all three called me and said they were out of stock, and they didn't know when they would get more in stock from Bauer.

So, two questions:
  1. Does anyone know where I can find a Total One intermediate shaft?
  2. Is there a decent substitute? Something with a similar flex (67) that takes standard tapered blades?

Thanks for the help.

Not sure if it's still the same price, but I just bought a Warrior AK-27 int shaft the other day for 50 bucks from HockeyMonkey. I, too, have a One95 and after snapping a friend's stick the other day...I thought it was high time to get a back up but I ran into the same problem you did with everything being out of stock. Sucks too...I bought that One95 shaft for like 60-70 bucks...I can't believe the Total One is over 100 and only a few bucks less than the senior model.

Ahh that's unfortunate.

The AK27 is an excellent alternative to the T1.

The AK27 is on clearance too. I couldn't stand the balance though (intermediate) with any blade I tried.

that can be remedied by buying some lead tape from a golf or tennis shop and either stack in in the hollow of the plug or tape it to the inner walls of the top of the shaft.

I had two plugs that I tried, one I hollowed out and filled with lead sinkers and the other I put a long screw and tons of washers on it. Neither helped all that much. Still felt like an axe.

Success! On my fourth try I finally had a transaction go through. I just got my shipment notification with tracking number from Great Skate.

Thanks forum.
