Don't start slacking tomorrow night Pens! Calgary throws us a bone and this weekend could make it real interesting.

interesting part of this is we could end up playing the Pens in round one (booooo!) if they keep winning. They are only 6pts behind NYR, and with Sid coming back??
Scary--

Yeah if Sids back I don't think any team is really even close to the Pens level

Was watching the Sen/Rangers game during intermissions and commercial breaks. Found it interesting that Karlsson is now getting the Mike Green treatment in one shift alone he got hit three times pretty hard.
Letangs also obviously been getting the same

Crosby comes back and Malkin's production drops. All that is secondary to how Fleury plays though. He doesn't preform and they're in trouble. The interesting part is how Crosby handles the physicality. We already know Malkin can quickly become a detriment when getting hit. Does Sid fold a little bit given the past two years?

Yea if I'm playing Crosby I'm finishing my check hard everytime.
Letang coming back is also key
On paper and all I don't see a team that really comes close to them

I see a couple teams. They aren't overly physical and they're not overly technical. Boston and Rangers can easily break them down and Canucks could skate around them. They're a good in the middle team and teams like Philly and Ottawa could be easy match ups.

Team dynamics break down. Crosby will take Kunitz away from Malkin.
Either way with their crazy win streak last year they still weren't first in the league.

****ing Pens, gonna do a 3 point game with Florida.
Without Goligoski or Rupp can't think of a player on the Pens I would be fine with scoring a goal.

Bummer. First pens' GWG is disallowed. Then staal misses 2 on the doorstep at game's end. Headed to SO now.

DJ King's brother(Dwight) has one less goal than DJ has for his career.

So the Caps have two more wins than Florida but are three points behind them...Explain that to a casual fan.

All I know is Joe Thornton is a Canadian, so he is still a good Captain.

Wings are not a good team away from the Joe and they're getting closer to losing first round home ice.

At this point, I think that Buffalo's going to end up getting the 8th and final playoff spot in the East. For the Caps to get in the playoffs it will have to be by winning the Division.

Holy cow pens all over the bruins.
At this rate they will get top seed in the east.
