Wild beat the Cats in SO. Wild have two shooters with 45+ attempts that are 46% and 51% in the SO.

Unless something changes drastically between the jets and the ning, you're new south east division leaders are the Jets.

In a way would be kinda cool for the Jets to win the division just for the overall storyline.

In a way, it'd be cool to be able to bludgeon anyone I want with a nerf bat.

I have not the first clue how that applies to your statement but for some reason it fits.

As I said before, winning the SE is verboten for the Jets. It would mean they'd have to acknowledge actually being in the SE and therefore actually being the Thrashers. Never gonna be allowed.

The sixth seed would be pissed. I'd hope that series goes to 7 games. Suckers.

The Jets may actually be the best team in the division.

Not really that creative.

The Jets are playing some good hockey. If I had to guess right now, I'd say they end up taking it.

Door for the bottom of the conference may be getting pushed open a little further. C. Anderson injures himself in a kitchen accident cutting himself out indefinitely. Can Ottawa continue without him?

So after Burrows scores the shootout goal to break the Wings 23 game home winning streak, he does the stick break motion over his knee.

Guy is a totally obnoxious, agitating weasel -- we don't have a speck of that in our lineup.

I remember Dale as an obnoxious little weasel until we got him

Pepe wanted a league of Mr. Whipple's and he got his wish.

Saw that. Hendricks has shown a little of that from time to time, such as last week after the Caps beat the Panthers in Florida, the fans tossed some of the toy rats on to the ice just the same and Hendricks went around and shot them back into the crowd. Now if it had been Hamrlik who tried to do that he'd probably hit the glass and the rats would bounce back on the ice as opposed to when he tries to clear pucks out of the zone by using the glass.

There will be two things that determine the Pens playoff run. Fleury and the Refs. Tampa had three or four break aways and there should have been a penalty on two or three of them. Refs turn around and give Pens a PP when Neil had the Tampa's player stick tucked nice and close to his chest with his elbow.

I've used the old Dean Martin line about Frank Sinatra "It's Franks's world, we just live in it", to describe the NHL and their love of the Penguins. It's Mario's league, we just happen to be playing in it.
